The initial consultation allows us to understand your goals, assess the scope of works, and confirm whether your project is the right fit for our process. This stage establishes clear expectations and provides the foundation for informed planning before any commitments are made.
During the design phase, selections and layouts are developed in coordination with our design team and consultants. This stage ensures finishes, fixtures, and fittings are considered early, reducing variations and allowing decisions to be finalised before construction pricing is locked in.
Once all selections and documentation are confirmed, we enter into a fixed-price Master Builders Association Victoria contract. This defines scope, cost, and timelines upfront, providing certainty and eliminating unexpected cost variations during construction.
Construction is carefully managed through coordinated scheduling, consistent site standards, and clear communication. Where possible, we work around occupied homes while maintaining control of timelines and minimising disruption. Every stage is actively overseen to ensure quality and accountability are maintained.
Upon completion, we carry out a detailed quality review, arrange a professional clean, and provide all relevant compliance documentation and warranties. Handover is conducted once the project meets our standards, ensuring a smooth transition into your completed home.

We’re so glad to have worked with Alex on our renovation! It was a complicated project, with lots of different and sometimes fiddly jobs all through the house. There were new elements, such as timber flooring and kitchen cabinet fronts, and revamping of what was already there (lining a workshop with plywood, restoring old cork flooring), and Alex didn’t blink at the challenge!
Our Californian bungalow had been very well looked after by its previous owners, yet as in any project unexpected problems arose. Alex handled these efficiently and consulted with us regularly, and was clear on price and timing. Special thanks to the painters Michael and Simon, who skilfully did colour drenching in areas with shelving and delicate fretwork.
Alex managed all the pieces of the puzzle with care and precision. He is an excellent communicator, and maintained his calm in the face of our many and varied requests! We particularly appreciated his solutions-oriented approach: whenever an issue arose, instead of giving up, he stuck at it until he found an answer. His patience and good humour got us through a stressful process, and the end result is beautiful.
